Time for a change
Now that I have mastered projectile vomiting, I have moved on to projecting my food out the other end! I am so good that I've had at least 8 diaper changes today, and it isn't even lunch time yet. Mom and dad seem less impressed with this new skill. I'll admit it is not quite as fun as projectile vomiting and I never considered that it might lead to the dreaded diaper rash. I'm all for new experiences, but I think this one is starting to get old.
Also, if my stomach virus wasn't exciting enough, I decided to do a face plant into the coffee table. Fun times.

Watch out!
This weekend Grandma and Grandpa came down to visit me. Just to test their babysitting abilities I decided to get a stomach virus. I got to projectile vomit all over mommy and daddy! Of course I never hit Grandma, that would just be rude. Anyway, I think they were impressed with my new skill. Mommy said that my new name is Exorcist Baby. I don't know what that means but it sounds very important.

Yuck
Spaghetti with Meat Sauce baby food is officially gross. I tried to convey these feelings to mommy by fake gaging and shuddering whenever the spoon came near my mouth, but she didn't seem to get it. I had to resort to spitting the food out and smearing it all over my face. Hopefully that did the trick.
Also, let me remind anyone who is wondering that I am too young to know or be able to make any rude finger gestures. And even if I could, I certainly wouldn't do that to mommy!

Well rounded
At school I learn a lot about sharing, eating with friends, playing with bubbles, and exploring. That's all good, but I also think its important to keep up with current events.

9 months old
Time flies when you're having fun! It has been a busy month. I have perfected my ability to pull up to stand. Now I can chew on the coffee table, piano bench, or my crib whenever I want. My top two teeth are coming in, I have clapped my hands together at least 6 times, I babble nonsense all the time, I've added bread and cheese to my diet, and I waved bye-bye once (I'm not telling mom if I really meant it or was just moving my arm for fun).
To help me celebrate Aunt Ali is visiting. I ran my first 5k this morning with her and mommy. Well, ok I didn't so much run as eat cheerios and sleep while they (mostly Aunt Ali) pushed me. But it was fun. Afterwards I got to eat bananas and bagels with all the runners.

Grass
Today is the first day that I can remember playing in the grass. Daddy says that I also got to when I was only a few months old, but who can remember that long ago. Anyway, my quick impression is that it is a little prickly and you aren't supposed to eat it. I'd also like to say that I officially love the park. Crawling in the grass and riding the swing is the best (even if you can't tell from my swing picture).

Company!!
Grandma and Grandpa are here!! Just to see me!! They played with me today while mommy and daddy were at work. We had tons of fun reading books, crawling around, petting Abby, talking, laughing, and eating of course. I tried really hard to avoid my naps, but they are irresistible. Maybe tomorrow I'll have better luck.

My two front teeth
Here's a picture of my awful teeth. I wish they would hurry up and finish coming in!
