Just call me Spiderman.
Or maybe I'm Spiderman the Fireman.
Or maybe I'm Harry Potter riding in a flying car being chased by spiders!

Future Hogwarts Student
Mommy's love of Harry Potter is rubbing off on me. Do you think they'll let me in to Hogwarts when I turn 11?

Two and a half
Did you know that I turned two and a half this week? Well I did! I'm not really clear on what a "half" is, but I know you don't get a birthday cake for it. Oh well. It does mean that I am getting older. I thought I'd take a minute to update you on some of my recent accomplishments. Talking is probably my favorite thing to do. I can always find something to comment on. I do not like it when people have conversations and don't include me. I can sing dozens of songs, I can easily count up to five objects and sometimes more (especially if they are potato chips), I know all my colors and most of my letters, I can recite my favorite storybooks, I can say some very naughty curse words, and I can tell you all about my day and which of my friends did something bad. Next to talking, jumping is probably my favorite. I love to jump on everything. I can do somersaults on the ground or by jumping on the couch. I can hop of one foot while practicing my hopscotch. I also love to dance, do "gymnastics" and my "karate". When I eat I only use grown up things now, a regular chair, bowl/plate, fork/spoon. I have yet to get a knife but I'm working on it. My favorite foods are fruit, mainly berries, apples and bananas, yogurt, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, and peanut butter and jelly waffles. Oh and how could I forget crackers, cookies, cake, ice cream, pretzels, suckers, slim jims, and pop.
On the flip side I also am doing my best to fit the "terrible twos" description. I have many, many good ideas and I do not like it when someone gets in the way. In the morning I don't want to go to school and in the afternoons I don't want to go home. I also do not want to wear my coat, hat, or gloves at any time. I want to watch movies all day long. I want chips, sprite, and candy for all my meals. If I get any kind of hurt it is a very big deal and I must have a band aid and medicine. I also have decided that I will not take naps and at night I will only sleep in mommy and daddy's bed. Sometimes they wait until I'm asleep and move me into my room, but I just wake up and come back so why bother? I think I'm doing a great job keeping mom and dad on their toes.

Teaching
Luke has been learning a lot lately thanks to me. I spent the last few weeks teaching him how to crawl, how to play with his toys, how to pull Abby's ears, how to eat cheerios, and how to crawl into mommy's lap. My latest lesson is teaching him that you do not need to wear pants and socks in the house. This trick might take a little longer to learn. Sometimes I still have a little trouble getting my clothes off and I'm 2! But it is worth the trouble. I'd much rather wear my legs and toes than pants and socks.

7 months old!
Yep, you read it right. I'm seven months old now. I have been a busy bee (or monkey as mommy calls me). I am loving to eat baby food. In fact, I try to avoid the bottle all together during the day. I like all my fruits and veggies. Meats are not quite so tasty. Ham is gross, chicken makes me gag a little, but tonight's turkey was tolerable. Sometimes I get to try and feed myself rice crispies. This is maddening. I think mommy gives them to me just to keep me busy.
Aside from eating, my main focus is on moving around. This month I learned how to sit myself up when I am lying on my belly. And I am just now figuring out crawling. I can only go a little ways, but each day it is a little bit further. I predict I will be zooming around in a week. I also love to practice standing up and jumping up and down. I got legs and I just have to use them!
I'm still not a fan of naps longer than 15 minutes, but I have learned to take some long ones at home. I am usually in bed by 7pm, but I need my midnight and 5 am bottles. Lucky for mommy, most mornings I fall back asleep until at least 6:30. I can't wait to see what happens next month!
