Standing and Walking?

Tonight I thrilled mommy, daddy, and Cole by standing up all by myself and taking 3 steps! I have only stood up a few times, but tonight I was working hard. Several times I stood for about 5 seconds. Then I just started rocking back and forth and off I was walking. They weren't fast enough to document my amazingness but they did get pics and video of me shortly afterwards.

Chef Cole

Add dinner to my list of amazing things I have made in the kitchen. (Earlier list included rice crispy treats and salad.) Tonight, with a little help from mommy, I cooked chicken nuggets with ranch sauce, steam green beans with butter and salt, and microwaved potatoes. I also put napkins and forks on the table. Mmmm, mmmm, yummy. I am so almost 3!

Bug

Cute as a bug? Yes. But that's not what I'm talking about. I love mommy so much that I shared my stomach bug with her. Why be sick alone when you can be sick together?

P.S. I also got tooth #7 and #8 yesterday! I like to combine illness and teething. It gets all the bad stuff out of the way at once.

Abby time

Most of the time I just pull Abby's hair. Today I tried to play frisbee with her, but she didn't seem too interested.

Party time

I like birthday parties too! After getting a nice long nap in the car, I got to play with my friends Nina and Ewan. I gave Nina sloppy wet kisses and pulled Ewan's hair and clothes. I can't talk yet so that's how I tell people I like them.

Happy Birthday Nina!

Nina is 3, not me I'm still 2. Yea Nina! I went to her house in far away Cincinnati and played all day with her, her brother, her mommy and daddy, and her other friends Lauren and Trevor and their mommy and daddy. We played the drums, with bubbles, sang Happy Birthday, ate birthday cake, and watched a frog movie. She opened the presents I got her and I let her do it all by herself. I even waited until she was done playing to ask her if I could try the butterfly wings I gave her. Giving good presents is hard! I had so much fun that I can't wait until I'm three.

Sunburn

It took me 2 years and 9 months to get my first ever sunburn. It is just a little bit on my arms, don't think you can even see it here. I think it is pretty cool.

Easter videos

Here's me enjoying my Easter basket this Sunday. I love candy for breakfast.

Easter is awesome!

This morning, as promised, the invisible Easter Bunny brought me a basket full of CANDY, and bubbles and puzzles, and CANDY. What a yummy breakfast. Later when I went in Grandma's backyard I saw that the Easter Bunny left plastic eggs hidden everywhere. Plastic eggs with CANDY in them! Easter is like Halloween, but in the morning, with no costumes, and you don't have to go out to get the candy. Pretty sweet.

10 months old!

Friday I turned 10 months old! To celebrate I cooperated and drank my antibiotics for my ear infections. I also let mommy get a picture of 4 of my 6 teeth while I ate my favorite Mac 'n Cheese dinner. My biggest advances this month include getting tooth #5 and #6, easily walking while holding onto my toy car, and saying "uh oh" at the most appropriate moments. Between visits from my extended family and Easter weekends I almost forgot I had gotten a month older. I am a busy guy.

Sleep record

I slept 8:30 pm to 7:00 am without waking up even once for a bottle two nights in a row. Yes, that is a record. Maybe I'll make it three nights in a row tonight.
