Chef Cole
Today I cooked everyone a four-star, three course meal.
#1: Spider snacks! Don't worry they weren't real spiders. They had peanut butter guts, pretzel legs, and cinnamon candy eyes.
#2: Taco-Chili Bake. A tasty Mexican dish sprinkled with paprika.
#3: Fake grilled cheese sandwiches with fries! Well, that is what it looked like but it was really cake with orange icing and baked apple slices. Pretty sneaky, huh!

COSI with Grandma
Today Cole and I showed Grandma around COSI. She was very impressed by all the science we did.
I'm the little dinosaur. I'm showing you my sign for hot, but turns out the cloud machine was just right. I promised to not knock over Cole's structure and he promised to let me go inside with him. We ate lunch in the cafeteria and entertained Mommy and Grandma with lively conversation.
Grandma and Grandpa are here!

Happy Birthday Mommy!
Today was Mommy's Birthday! I celebrated by blowing lots of bubbles for her and singing Happy Birthday many times. I wrote the word HAPPY in a shiny birthday card for her. Daddy helped me make her birthday cake, including cracking the eggs and decorating it. I thought I made a convincing argument for blowing out the candles and opening her presents for her, but I guess only the birthday person gets to do that.
New look
When Cole needs a haircut he goes to the haircut store, sits in a race car, and watches cartoons. When I need a haircut Daddy gets out his clippers. I'm not sure if I'm ok with that or not.

One of the boys
I'm doing my best to keep up with Cole and Daddy. Its hard being 1 year old sometimes. I can see what they are doing but I can't always make my body do it too, or do it as fast. Someday I'll be older and then I'll be the big boy. Maybe they'll even try to copy me.
Cole is great at throwing leaves in the air. I'm trying, too!
Babysitting
This weekend I took care of the mouse from my classroom. I fed him dinner, let him ride in the car with me, built him a house out of magnatiles, took him to the park, shared my bed during nap time and at night, and talked, talked, talked to him about all kinds of stuff. We'll have lots of stories to tell my friends and teachers at school tomorrow!
