So sad to say goodbye
After six weeks, Ali and Dexter are leaving us. I thought they were going to live with us forever. I liked having Aunt Ali here to give me baths and read me books. I loved having another 4 year old to play with all the time. Cole and I will be so lonely now!
Go Orioles!
Dexter and I made it through our first t-ball season. Sometimes it was hard following the coaches directions, especially when I'd rather sit down next to mommy, but I tried my best. I love hitting the most. Second best is playing the games. Third best is wearing my glove and running after balls. Oh wait, I almost forgot, after game snacks are the best!
Here is my team acting crazy.
Here is me making a hit in my last game.
Spring Baseball Playoffs
After weeks of playing baseball with the A's, the season ended with the playoffs. My teammates and I got better and better each game. We made big hits and started making outs but still had never won a game. Our first playoff was against the Tigers. The coach let me play my favorite positions, catcher and pitcher. When I was catcher I made an out after fielding a ball and running to it to 3rd base before the base runner got there. I made three hits, one of which was a double. And... we finally got a win! We made it to the second playoff game. We tried hard but couldn't beat the Rangers. But that's ok. I loved my team, my coach, and baseball. I'm already signed up for fall ball!
Here's me being a pitcher.
Post game snacks and a game ball.

Four cousins is enough
Cousins are fun, so why not see three more? Today we made a visit to see Grace, Jason, and Genna. We played with their toys, swam at their pool, and ate their popsicles.
Columbus Clippers
Sunday night I went to my first professional baseball game! It was terrific! I went with everybody; mom, dad, Luke, Ali, Dexter, Nana, and Grandfather. The baseball field was huge. We sat near first base and near where the pitchers warmed up. So I spent a lot of time watching my favorite player... the catcher! The Clippers won even though they were behind for the whole game. Everyone was so excited. Afterwards Luke, Dexter, and I ran the bases, twice!

More family!
Nana and Grandfather are here! I love when our house is full of people! We protected them during our walk around the neighborhood.
No more training
After months (years?) of avoiding it, I finally asked Dad to take the training wheels off my bike. So far I've stayed up more than I've fallen down.

Two peas in a pod
We play together, we fight together, we eat together, sometimes we even sleep together. Once we even did time out together.

Guppies
Cole, Dexter, and I finished two weeks of swim lessons today. Dex and I were in guppies and Cole was in turtle class. We had a lot of cold and rainy mornings, but the promise of donuts kept me in the water.
Today was our last day so our teachers let us float on the lazy river.
There's Cole and Luke W.
Lucky Cole! He got to jump off the big diving board!
I think the classes were a success because I can go underwater now! See me in my green shirt?
I'm out of the guppies class. Bring on the tadpole class!

COSI day
What do you do on a rainy summer day? Go to COSI! I love being a scientist and Luke and I loved showing Dexter all around our science center.
Then we all signed up to do science experiments. We used water, food coloring, and salt to make a water rainbow, we popped open film canisters with alka seltzer, and we made flubber. I love being a scientist.
We took Dexter into our favorite thing, the tornado wind generator!
We watched a show about weather and touched a cloud!

Dexter is strong enough to lift a bowling ball!
Parks and City Parties
In the summertime there is something fun to do everyday. We can swim in the pool, play baseball, play in the woods, visit a park and learn about animals and nature, dance and bounce at a city festival... the list goes on and on.
Gahanna Creekside party. We bounced in two bouncy houses, watched a puppet show, painted with sidewalk chalk, played drums, and ate ice cream!
A trip to Slate Run Metro Park for creeking and visiting the animals.
We found crayfish, spiders, worms, fish, and salamanders on our salamander hunt.
There's our little salamander.
The baby sheep are growing up!
The farmer let me feed the horses.
The hen house was filled with cute baby chicks.
