Everyone I met at Disney....

Cole and I spent our week at Disney getting autographs from our favorite people. This was my absolute favorite thing we did. And my most favorite people were Peter Pan and Ariel. They are THE BEST!

Peter and Wendy talked to me all about Never Land, Pixie Dust, and Captain Hook.

Ariel is the most beautiful of all the princesses and she is a really good singer. She talked to me all about being a mermaid and what she likes to eat. I told her that she is pretty and she kissed me! She KISSED me!! I am in love with her.

I actually went to see her twice!

We met everyone from the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Mickey, of course, is the most famous. I love them all, but I think Donald is my favorite.

We saw Donald Duck in Epcot's Mexico, Animal Kingdom's Tusker House, and at Chef Mickey's.

Daisy Duck
Goofy!

Pluto

I met some other beautiful girls from the Disney movies. They were very nice and pretty (but not as pretty as Ariel).
Alice in Wonderland

Cinderella's Fairy Godmother

Mary Poppins and Bert

  Hi from Chip and Dale!

  Stitch!

Jessie and Woody

Disney World, Take Two

If you remember, last year we went to Disney World at Christmas time. We had so much fun that we decided to do it all over again! This time instead of meeting Ali, Dan, Dexter, Nana, and Grandfather, we brought Grandma and Grandpa. We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge, went to all the parks and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and had a ridiculous amount of fun. I hope we go again next year. This should definitely be a family tradition.

Christmas Holiday Concert starring Luke

At school I have been practicing and practicing singing Christmas songs for our big concert next week. I just found out that I am going to miss it! I will be in Disney World instead. I'm sure Disney is way more fun, but I am still sad that I did all that practicing and won't get to do the show with my friends. So I decided to do the show all by myself just for you! Here you go:

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer

Frosty the Snowman

Jingle Bells

The grand finale: Santa Claus is Coming to Town and We Wish You a Merry Christmas

Christmas helper

I am very good at licking and stamping envelopes. Merry Christmas!

Santa!

I told Santa that I've been a good boy and would love to get lots and lots of toys. I hope he believed me.

Christmas Cookie Tradition

A tradition is something special that you do every year. My family tradition is making Christmas cookies. Every year Mom mixes up Nana's cookie recipe and Luke and I help decorate. I even have some pictures to prove it.

December 2013 - Here we are!

I think they are too little to decorate!

Saturday Parties

Saturday was a very busy day! Cole and I had church cherub choir practice, then a library winter party, and finally mom's euchre Christmas party. I did not like the choir practice. Unlike Cole, I don't think I'm ready to learn a bunch of songs and sing in front of people. I'm still deciding if I will go back next week. The library party was super fun with books about snow and bears and fun activities. The euchre party was the best of all. Daddy made his big Christmas dinner for everyone!

At the library I practiced ice fishing, putting cookie letters in Cookie Monster's mouth, and throwing marshmallows into a big hot cocoa mug.

Look at all those presents! Mommy's friends had a gift exchange and everyone let me help out.

Homework time

Every week I get a homework packet with five assignments plus a reading log. I always start the week with the quick and easy work, like math problems or marking up sentences. Then I skip a few days, procrastinate, beg mommy to let me do it later, and finally sit down on Sunday to do my longer writing assignments. Twice I've actually had to do the work on Monday before the school bus. There are just so many other things I'd rather do. Why can't my homework be playing NFL football on the iPad for 6 hours?

Horrible manners

Mom and Dad tell us all the time that we have horrible table manners. That is why we never go to any fancy restaurants, except for Bob Evans. I don't know what their problem is. I think we are very well behaved.

Trimming the tree...

and showing brotherly love.

Fancy Party

Thanks for being married for 30 years, Beth and Mark. Because of you I went to my very first fancy party and got super dressed up.

Beth got a 30th anniversary party and a 50th birthday party. How lucky is that?!

Emma is the funnest and prettiest cousin!

Here's a picture of us not so dressed up.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Grandma and Grandpa, cousins, baby cousins, cranberry jelly! It was a wonderful holiday.

I sat at the fun kids table.

We celebrated Beth's birthday with my carrot cake.

Joe is a good helper for Thanksgiving Batman.

And he bought me my first, very own Lego set!
