Kindergarten parties

Did you know that the last month of Kindergarten is mostly parties? Well, it is! This week we had a party every day! Monday - camp party with lemonade and games, Tuesday - pjs, popcorn, and movie party, Wednesday - let our butterflies go in the nature park party, Thursday - beach and ice cream party, and Friday - board game party! Whew!

We had other big party days before this week too, these were Field Day, Bubble Day, and the Garden Party. For field day we spent the whole day playing games. We did not win the golden shoe, but we had lots of fun.

On bubble day we did all things bubbles, including bubble art, making bubbles, getting inside a bubble, and... face paint and tatoos (not bubbles).

For the garden party, we sang songs about leaving Kindergarten, showed mom and dad our class garden, and had snacks in our room.

Founder's Day

Every year our town celebrates it's birthday. This is called Founder's Day. This year mom and I watched the parade together, while Luke (and Dad) marched in the parade with his baseball team. It was a great parade because I knew so many kids that were in it! Plus the Ghostbusters where there!

 Who ya gonna call?

Rondald McDonald!  I love that guy's restaurant.

Here comes the baseball teams. Luke threw candy as he walked the parade.

I didn't know Batman lived in New Albany.

After the parade we went to my school's art show. There's my masterpiece!

Happy birthday to me!

I'm 6 now! Yea!! This year my birthday was on a Tuesday, so I had to go to school. It was actually pretty because we had a pj, movie, popcorn party and I got to wear a crown! After school, we went to putt-putt. I love mini golf and Cole hates it. It was pretty hard for him, but I had lots of fun. The golf course was so crazy! There were lots of place to lose your ball in the water. After that, we ate my favorite pancake meal at Bob Evans. Then we went home for presents and ice cream cake. Mom and dad bought me a new bike! It is huge and I'm already great at riding it.

Check out this waterfall. Why is the water such a weird color?

Someone hit their ball back in the water... AGAIN!

I got tons of great presents! Mom and Dad got me a big bike, a wubble ball, and Sorry. Grandfather and Nana gave me a new water gun, Ali gave me a hot wheels car/plane. (I've already gotten it stuck in 4 different trees!) Cole made me a baseball picture. And I got lots of Toys R Us money from Grandma and Grandpa! I can't wait to go shopping.

Bowling Party

Saturday was my last day of Children's Choir at the Church. We sang at the evening mass and then had a bowling party! My favorite things about choir were having parties and singing solos. My least favorite thing was going to practice on a sunny day when I could be playing outside. But overall it was worth it. My teachers were great and I'm already signed up for next season.

Here's me and Mr. Thom.

Go Rockies!

This year I'm on the Rockies. So far we are 3 and 2. I think we're pretty good.

I got hit with a fly ball in my third game. Look how tough I am!

My first ever baseball game!

This Spring I am finally old enough to play baseball. My team is the Giants and we are really good! My coach is teaching me a lot. Last night was our first game. I played center field and was able to field several hits. I was up to bat 4 times. I got three singles and one strike out. Twice I was able to score. It was so much fun!

One of my big hits! Can you see the ball?

Running home...

Mother's Day Celebration

We had a big Mother's Day party at Ready Set Grow Friday. Mom's and parties are my favorites! We sang all the songs we've been working on this year, I showed mom and dad the work I've done, and we had punch and cookies!

Our Days of the Week and Months of the Year song.

The Presidents song.

My special announcement!

CREED

I made it through my first year of CREED, which is religion class. I really didn't want to go, so mommy agreed to be one of the teachers. I liked all my new friends and some of the art projects. I guess it wasn't too bad.

1st Communion

I've spent all year getting ready for my first holy communion. It was totally worth it. My family, friends, Godmother, and cousins all helped me celebrate.

Party time!
