Mrs. Cervantes gave each of us an award. Mine was for being a good friend to all my classmates!

Graduation!
Its official. I am no longer a preschooler! Thursday night I graduated from preschool. I wore a cap and gown, sang lots of songs I learned this year, walked across the stage to get my certificate, and had cake and lemonade. I am so proud!
We sang about the U.S. Presidents, the planet in our solar system, the vowels in the alphabet, and colors in English and Spanish. We also counted to 10 in Spanish. Here is one of my songs. Isn't it great?!
My teachers gave me two certificates, one for graduating and one for being the class's sweetest friend.
Here's me on stage. Can you see me sitting down in the middle?

Graduation party!
This week I graduated from preschool! Before our big ceremony we had a party in our classroom. I think mom, dad, and grandma had a lot of fun.

Blue Jays are a winning team!!
I finished my first baseball game this week. It took two days because of a thunderstorm. We played really well, and won! I played first base, pitcher, catcher, and right center field during the four innings. I struck out one, and had three big hits. It is great to win!!
I think Luke enjoyed the game, too.

Wild Friday at School
There are only a few more weeks of school left and we have been doing a ton of fun stuff. We just finished our first week of a two week camp program. Every day we learn about wildlife, walk in the nature preserve, sing camp songs, talk about camp safety, we even sat in real tent and watched a naturalist make a fire with flint. Of course we also find time for math and language. We've counted and graphed how many of us have been camping, and we've learned about homophones like deer-dear and bear-bare.
Today we took time out for two exciting activities and mom came to our class to help out! In the morning, we rode the school bus to the high school football stadium to compete in the K1 Olympics. We won one game of boo yah and a relay race. We had lots of fun, but it wasn't enough for the golden shoe.
In the afternoon the art teacher helped us sign a brick and put our hand print on the wall. Mine is by the window near the gym. It will be there forever!

First Blue Jays tball game!
I've had quite a few practices with my Blue Jays baseball team, but tonight was our first game. I was so excited I ran all the way from the car to the field (which is actually a really long way), not waiting for mom or dad. We practiced a little and then played three innings against the Braves. I played first base! I learned that I need to touch first base as soon as a batter hits the ball. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do after that. Anyway, I had big hits and we tied the game, because there are no outs in tball!
Here we are warming up.
We were being good listeners when the coach was talking.
Look, I'm on first base!
Cole cheered for me!
Check out my first at bat. I took a warm up swing and then hit a big one.

I love mom!
I'm so glad mom has her own special day, because she is a special mom!
I drew her pictures and wrote all about her at school. My mom is as pretty as a flower, as sweet as a flower, and as smart as a nerd. She is 39 years old and likes to watch Days of Our Lives. The best thing she cooks is pancakes. Her favorite food is Jet's Pizza. Her favorite thing to do to relax is read a book. We like to play video games together. If I could, I would buy her an iPad. To sum up, I love mom because she kisses me, snuggles with me, washes my clothes, sleeps with me, and hugs me. She is the best mom ever.
Celebrate mommies and babies!
Today is Mother's Day! I gave mom flowers, good behavior at church, a present I made at school, and lots and lots of love.
I'm not the only one with a mommy. The animals in our neighborhood have mommies too. There is a cardinal who made a nest by our front door. Her babies hatched this week. They always look hungry or sleepy.
Today we found a tiny faun in the trees at the edge of our backyard. She was so little and friendly. Daddy got to pet her!

I love my teachers!
Because I'm in the science room, Miss Shannon and Miss Taylor teach us about animals. They let us help take care of the chinchillas, fish, and lizards. Last week they brought in chicken eggs and an incubator, and now the baby chicks are hatching! They are also getting me ready for Kindergarten and our big graduation ceremony. This week I thanked my amazing teachers by bringing them flowers and cards. And they had a breakfast party for our moms. I love my school!
Prayer Partner
Back in September, I signed up to pray for a high school student who is getting ready for confirmation. His name is Cameron, he is 15, he plays baseball and basketball for New Albany, and he likes video games! Tonight we went to a party to meet him and congratulate him on getting confirmed tomorrow.
We even brought him a present. I picked this out, but mom insisted that no 15 year old boy would want it. I settled for something smaller.

Gymnastics recital
All year I have been taking gymnastics classes with Ms. Krista. She comes to my school and teaches me stretches, flips, and jumps. Last year she taught me a pirate song and this year I got to be the scarecrow from Wizard of Oz! My best girlfriends from school were there too for their dance recitals.
Me and Lanie!
Me and Liv!
My friends from school.
Check out my dance. I'm the last one on the left and I knew all the moves!
After our dance we showed off with flips and jumps.
