COSI Day

What better way to spend a super hot sunny day than cooling off inside COSI! Apparently there aren't a lot of kids there on a Monday morning.

Luke and I went on stage to do a science demonstration. We made the Diet Coke erupt. I used Mentos candies and Luke used rock salt.

We did experiments, like digging for chocolate chips. This one helped us understand how engineers remove coal from the ground.

I saw the large butterfly art sculptures. These were made out of trash by artist, Michelle Stitzlein. And... I've met her! She came to my school and I helped her make an art mural out of bottle caps.

I even got to use a special space potty. Don't worry, I was just pretending!
