More visitors

Mommy keeps telling me that nana is coming to visit me tomorrow and Ali the next day. Its been a long time since I've seen nana and I will be sure to show her the picture I have of her. On the other hand, I've been telling mommy every day that I want to visit Ali and her family again. I'm glad to know she has been listening.

(Please ignore my bed hair. Can you believe mommy lets me run around looking like that?!)

Hi Grandma

Yesterday Grandma (mee-ma) and Grandpa (pee-pa) came to visit me. It was such a nice surprise. I showed them my favorite cartoon, played my harmonica and piano for them, sang Roly-poly, and danced a lot. Plus I gave them lots of hugs and kisses. I wish they could have stayed longer.

Is Grandma getting smaller or am I getting bigger?

Roly-Poly

One of my favorite songs to sing is Roly-Poly. My teacher Destany taught it to me. It has four verses and lots of dance moves. Mommy caught me singing verse one: roly-poly, roly-poly, down, down, down. She's going to have to work harder if she wants to record the whole thing.

Learning

This week I decided to give up my spoon and go back to using my hands for the really messy stuff... like oatmeal and yogurt. I learned that this results in numerous benefits. Obviously it makes eating more fun, but I also get to change my clothes twice in the morning (before and after breakfast), and I get more bath time. So its a win-win-win situation for everybody!

Slinky

I love my new toy. I can throw it and stretch it and tangle it all up. Then I make mommy fix it for me. Fun!

Play day with Mommy

Instead of going to school this morning, mommy took me to a wonderful, fabulous place called COSI. She told me I had been there before with her and Ali, but I don't remember that. I got to climb up stairs, ride a glass elevator, throw balls down a ramp, slide down slides, ride a bike, use a water gun, make music with my hands, play a big drum and a harp, look at frogs, make a fish squirt water out his mouth, and eat pizza. If I hadn't been so tired after lunch I would have never let mommy take me home.

Guilty

I confess that a peanut butter and jelly sandwich is my favorite dinner. The messier the better.

Cousins

Yesterday I got to visit Ali and Dan. I helped them build my new cousin's crib. I knew how to do it because I have my own crib at home. I hope my cousin Dexter likes his as much as I like mine.
