Chores on the farm

I love staying home with mommy. Especially when it means a trip to the farm park for just the two of us. Today I helped the farmers with their chores. I made crackers, washed laundry, shelled beans, and dug out potatoes. I also visited the animals at the barn. 

The young turkeys really like me. One even let me feel her feathers.

After our chores were over, mom and I had a picnic and took a walk to the covered bridge.

The best Lego set... EVER!

Harley Quinn is an evil psychiatrist and Joker's girlfriend. She is a super-cool villain.

Ice cream maker

After watching the Magic Ice Cream maker commercial eight thousand times and begging mommy to buy it ten thousand times, she finally caved. We shook and shook and made our tiny scoop of ice cream. It was delicious!

I'm broke!

I saved up my money and bought the biggest, bestest Lego set ever, Lego Batman Arkham Asylum. I've only got $2 left in my piggy bank, but I don't care. It is amazing and I will spend all weekend putting it together. 

Mudcats!

Fall baseball has started! This time I'm a Mudcat. We've had three practices and Saturday is our first game.

Soccer

Tonight I started on my soccer team! Despite the battery in my stomach, I did a great job. I was a very good listener, I dribbled the ball, and kicked the ball in the goal. My coach and my mom were very impressed. At the end of practice we played a game for a few minutes. That was much trickier than playing with myself. I'm not sure how I feel about that.

1st grade

I'm officially in first grade now! My teacher is Mrs. Cervantes and I already know three of the boys in my class. I get to stay all day at school, ride the bus back and forth, take two recesses, and eat my peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in the cafeteria. On Monday's we have lessons in Mandarin Chinese. I am going to get crazy smart this year.

 

Back to school

I love being home all the time. Why would I want to leave mommy and daddy to go to school? After talking about it a lot, I've decided that school might be ok too. I'm in the science room now, with Miss Shannon and Mr. Michael. We have goldfish, a hermit crab, two salamanders, a bearded dragon, and two chinchillas. That is pretty cool.

6 year check-up

Mom finally took me to the doctor for my six year check-up. I'm perfectly healthy in every way and my height and weight are completely average. The doctor told me the most wonderful news... I don't need to get another shot until I'm 11 years old! Woo hoo!

I also lost my second tooth! My new favorite person is the tooth fairy.

Space museum

When we were visiting Ali, we also went to the space museum. There were huge airplanes, a space shuttle, and IMAX movie, and a McDonalds. It was very interesting.

It was fun running around the museum. I'm not sure what I liked best, the Space Shuttle, the elevator, the McDonalds, or the gift shop. They were all great.

Washington D.C.

Ali lives near Washington D.C. now! That's where the President lives. I've seen lots of the fancy buildings on money, but seeing the real thing with my own eyes was pretty cool.

 Oh yeah. I'm strong enough to hold up the Washington Monument.

We saw the outside of the White House but our name wasn't on the list to go inside. Maybe next time.

We all took a tour of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. We saw them making millions of dollars! I was really hoping they would sell me a big bag of money in the gift shop. No such luck. I hate that gift shop.

News Flash: Lost my tooth!

After months and months of having a loose tooth, it finally came out! Hope the tooth fairy comes to see me tonight.

Football movies

I finally got inside the Buckeye football stadium. We didn't see any football though. Instead we watched The Avengers! My favorite was running up and down the field with Cole.

We went up the elevator into the press box. It was so high up!

Mom let me take some pictures too.

They couldn't start the movie until it was dark, so I was pretty sleepy. Plus we've seen the movie tons of times already. The field is very comfortable. 

Art camp

One of my birthday presents was going to art camp at the Purple Dog Art Studio. I made all kinds of art projects every day this week. Check out the cool tie dyed t-shirt I made!

I wish I could keep going to Purple Dog. Hopefully art class at school will be just as fun.
