Dental hygine

Mommy finally got out the grown up toothpaste and taught me how to use it. I wonder why.

Candy is yummy

Halloween is a time for spooky decorations, pumpkins (or puppies as I call 'em), and candy! The other night, Mommy dressed me up as a fireman and pulled me around the neighborhood in my wagon. I learned pretty quickly that the quickest way to eat candy is to just chew right through the wrapper.

Check me out pulling a fast one on mommy. Yummy, yummy candy all for me!
Let go of my Kit Kat's daddy!

Tricks or Treats?

Treats, please! Halloween is awesome. After talking about it for months, I finally got to put on my Harry Potter glasses and quidditch robe, mommy put on my lightning bolt tattoo, I grabbed my magic wand and my pumpkin bucket and I went trick-or-treating! I went to lots and lots of houses in my neighborhood. Everybody said they loved Harry Potter and they were so happy to give me candy. They even gave me extra candy for Luke and I mostly passed it along. Even though it was cold outside, I stayed out the whole two hours. Once I was done with my trick-or-treating, I helped Grandma and mommy give candy to the other kids.

Pumpkin Goop

I love pumpkins. I can even say pumpkin, although it sounds like puppy. I had no idea however that pumpkins were full of slimy goop. It took me a few tries but eventually mommy got me to touch it. I even learned how to use my favorite big spoon to scoop the goop.

Look at that yucky goop! But I guess its not too bad. Look at me with my spoon! Cole and I are very good with pumpkins.

Pumpkin Carving

Trick-or-treating is only a few days away, so we finally carved our pumpkins. I helped mommy and daddy pick out their designs, I held the carving tools, and I scooped out pumpkin seeds. I would have helped more but apparently carving pumpkins is a dangerous activity.

I wanna be...

like Cole. These are my light sabers after all! I may not know how to use one yet but I'm trying hard to figure it out. He certainly gives me lots of opportunities to practice. Also thought I'd let you see how hard I'm working on my words. I can say mommy, no, Cole, hi, bye, wawa (water), more, the end, daddy (means Abby), doggie, and bubbles. I'm also really close with fishy, pumpkin, shoes, and socks. Most of the time however, I just can't seem to get the words to sound right.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Yesterday was daddy's birthday! We had cake and candles, sang songs, played with my light sabers, bought him special breakfast, and I helped him open his presents. I'm very good at that so he let me. I thought he was going to have a party but instead he left Luke and me at home and went out with mommy to a grown ups restaurant. That does not sound like fun at all. I don't ever want to do that for my birthday.

Obsess much?

I must have my blue light saber at all times or at least know where I put it so I can quickly locate it. I want it in the car, in my room, in the bathroom, and away from Luke. I also want to practice my fighting. I ask mommy and daddy to fight me every day, all the time. Luke is really too little, but I'll fight with him if he wants. I'm not allowed to bring my light saber to school. So when I'm there I make light sabers out of rolled up construction paper. It holds me over until I can get back home to my light saber. I love you light saber.

More Teeth

Numbers 12, 13, & 14 have been coming in this week. That's my last top molar, and my top two canines. I am dealing with it by taking 4 hour naps, falling asleep before bedtime, and by making mommy hold me constantly.

Best friends

Told you I love The Doll!

Costumes

For Halloween I'm going to be a skeleton Harry Potter who is on Star Wars. That works right?

See, I can even fly on my light saber like a broom.

Table manners

I think I'm ready to get rid of my tray and really sit at the big table. I like playing with the place mat and it makes it easier to bang dents in the table.

Yum, dessert!

Home improvement project

Daddy decided to let me help him paint my playground set. About two minutes later he decided I'd helped enough. I'm not sure what to think about that.

Columbus Day

We celebrated Columbus Day by playing in a Columbus Metro Park! Yea Columbus!

Campus tour

I know I'm not old enough to go to college but it can't hurt to start checking it out. So Saturday we all went to the OSU football stadium to have a look. All the doors were locked, so we couldn't really see the football field. I guess we should have told them we were coming.

See the big O behind us? That's the stadium.
Here's the front of the stadium.

I tried to find a way in...
Here is the new(er) rec center where daddy likes to play racquetball.

The Doll

Eeeek!!!

Just kidding. I'm not scared of "the doll". I love him. I ask mommy to take me by the neighbor's house everyday so that I can look at him. Happy Halloween, Doll!

Skeleton bones

Cole may be a skeleton, but his bones still block my view of the tv.

Five

Did you know that five is my favorite number? I especially like to eat everything in fives. Five crackers, five chicken nuggets, five apple slices, or five grapes. I swear there were five here, but I got hungry.

Children of the Corn

What's the best thing about a corn maze? Hiding from mommy and daddy!

Pumpkin Patch

Did you know that pumpkin patches are real? It isn't just something from Charlie Brown. Saturday we all went to the pumpkin patch and picked out our Halloween pumpkins. We also went in a corn maze, saw a magician, and I went in some bouncy houses, but the pumpkin patch was the best part.

Baby face

Thursday I got bit by a friend at school and gave myself a black eye. Friday I got bit again and then fell down the front steps of the house giving myself a bloody nose and scraping my face all up. Its tough to compete with Cole's four day, low-grade fever but I think I'm up to the challenge.
