One week down... how many to go?

I made it through my first week of Kindergarten. Monday was very hard, I was excited and scared and completely exhausted by the end of the day. Tuesday I woke up realizing that Kindergarten is not for me. Mom convinced me to go anyway and I had a great time! Wednesday and Thursday were great, thought I was getting the hang of it. Friday... the bus looked just too scary. Why can't I sit with my brother or better yet, just ride in mommy's car? I was too sad and scared to get on. I talked to the bus driver, Mrs. Green, when she brought Cole home. She said she really missed me in the morning. Maybe I can give it another try...

Here I am all dressed up for picture day. Waiting to get on (or not get on) the bus.

Here is my teacher Mrs. Clouse and my new Kindergarten friends!

Fall ball

Fall sports have started! After begging relentlessly, mom agreed to let me do baseball AND flag football! I love them both.

My baseball team is called the Marauders. I've moved up into the Rookie league where you only get three swings at bat, the ball is much harder, and we play 6 innings. Our games are on Thursdays and Saturdays. We won our first game against the River Dogs.

My football team is called the Eagles. Everyone on it is in 2nd or 3rd grade. My football coach was my baseball coach when I was on the Yankees many years ago! Our games are on Sundays and Mondays. So far we have won one game and lost one game.

2nd grade, here I come!

Going back to school is really easy when you have a fun teacher and 5 kids from 1st grade in your classroom. I love my class!

I told Luke all about Kindergarten and how it will be fun. I even sat next to him on the bus. I hope he had a great time.

Check out the bus stop!

I am in Kindergarten!

Today is finally here. Now I am in Kindergarten and I get to ride the school bus like all the other big kids. My teacher is Mrs. Clouse. She is very pretty and nice. I have my own cubby in my room. Over the last week or so, I started getting less excited and more nervous. I wasn't sure if I could go this morning, because I had a tummy ache and I couldn't sleep last night, but I did it.

Here is my room at the K1 building.

When morning Kindergarten is over I walk over to my old school for lunch and afternoon Kindergarten. One of my best friends from preschool was there. That was really fun. I think I will give it another try tomorrow.

St. Augustine

Nana and Grandfather now live in St. Augustine, Florida. They have a great house with a pool and lots of lizards. And, they live right near the beach and in a town famous for history!

Daddy does the best cannonballs!

Here is the Fort at St. Augustine. We only had a little time to explore. I really hope we come back soon. I liked imagining being a soldier here and wondering where they went to the bathroom.

We saw the oldest school in the USA! My school looks totally different.

A giant anchor!

Legoland!

During our Orlando vacation, Aunt Ali took all of us to Legoland. Thanks Ali! The park was filled with lego structures, rides that were just our size, and a fun water park. My favorite thing was trading minifigures with the Lego workers.

They had tons of cool Star Wars Lego displays!

They had all kinds of Lego cities.

Our favorite! Lego Batman and Lego Robin!!

Ready for Hogwarts

Mom has been reading Harry Potter to me and I love it! We are almost done with book 2. I love thinking about how wonderful it would be to get a letter that I've been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. For now I'm working on my magical powers. Like levitation! I taught Luke and Dexter how to do it too. Clearly we are not muggles!

Happy Birthday Nana!

My Nana just turned 70! To celebrate we all went to Orlando for week. We went swimming, visited with lots of family, went swimming, ate cake and ice cream, went swimming, chased lizards, and um, went swimming.

I showed off my golf and tennis skills.

I love hanging out with Dexter. We always have great ideas!
