Smile for the camera

Thanks for emailing me more pictures from your visit, Grandfather! I thought I'd share some of my favorites with everyone.

See, I told you I got to hold the baby!

Lots of company

Yesterday I got visits from Ali, Dexter, Grandfather, and Great Aunt Cindy! I made sure to entertain them with lots of songs and hugs. Grandfather taught me some great new dance moves. I also finally got to hold Dexter. I played with his toes, rubbed his head and back, brought him his bottle, and watched him sleep. Babies are very interesting.
Dexter has his own blog and wrote about me today! http://allisonkarrels.blogspot.com/

Name that tune

Have I mentioned how much I love to sing? I know tons of songs and will sing any one of them if you ask me.

Bargin prices

Have you ever had a yard sale? They are terrific! You get to stay outside all day, meet lots of new people, and play with lots of strange things. Mommy didn't sell any of my old toys because supposedly I'm going to give them to my new little brother. We'll see about that. Anyway, my favorite toy was the neighbor's exercise machine. I ran on it all day long, showing lots of people how it works. That's probably why it sold! I should go into advertising.

Monkey see, monkey do

Mommy is always calling me her little monkey, so I thought I'd learn to act like one.

Dexter

Today I got to meet my new cousin Dexter! He is very tiny and soft and likes to cry. I gave him many kisses and pats on the back. He seems nice, however I do not think mommy should hold him. Dexter has his own mommy. Why would mommy want such a little baby anyway, when she could hold me? I tried to be nice about it, but it was just too upsetting.
I also got to see Dan's motorcycle and motorcycle book! It was awesome. Vroom, vroom!

Nana visit

Nana drove all the way from Florida just to see me. On Friday Mommy, Nana, Ali, and I went to a kids museum in Dayton. I got to see lots of snakes, dinosaur bones, and baby mice. I played on slides, in water, on cars, and in a grocery store. It was really, really fun. And in the car I sang lots of songs for Nana and Ali, like Frere Jacques, Row Row Row Your Boat, Itsy Bitsy Spider, and We Will Rock you.
Nana also came to my house on Saturday and Sunday. I got to show her my baby brothers new bed and I peed in the potty for her. She brought me a special rocking chair to sit in. She said her mommy used to sit in it when she was little. It was very comfortable and good for reading the Sunday paper. Nana had to leave to go see Aunt Ali. I hope she doesn't stay there too long. I need more Nana time.
