I love mommy's book club. I don't know about the book, but the food is great.

Birthday party

It seems like Cole is always going to birthday parties and I'm never invited. I hate that. This weekend I finally got my turn. I went to Aiden's party. He goes to school with me. Lots of my friends were there. It was so much fun!

Parks this week

This week I guessed that the color would be yellow and I was right again!

I also went to my 5th metro park program on Tuesday so I earned my explorer patch. I'm so proud.

Sports all day

My sports right now are soccer and baseball. At soccer today I took my turn being goalie. I'm definitely good on defense. My team is awesome. We haven't won any games or made many goals. But we are the FireLasers. That's cool.

Today I also started baseball! I'm on the A's. Baseball is my best sport. I think the coaches are glad I'm on their team.

Art classes work

Ms. Evrard is my art teacher at Kindergarten. She taught us about Levoy Exil an artist in Haiti. In Haiti there was a terrible earthquake. I learned how to make my own painting showing how I would feel in an earthquake.

Colors and letters

I'm learning about colors and letters in my park class this spring. This week was O for orange.

Come here birdy

Today I built my bird friends a nest. I filled it with berries from our tree. I hope a bird decides to sleep here tonight.

Sheep at the farm

Today we went to the farm park to see the baby lambs. They were so cute and soft and noisy. Our visit was extra fun because Jenny and Luke W. came with us!

We watched the farmers give the mama sheep a haircut.

Big kid

I'm really growing. Today I was able to open the backdoor all by myself (the handle is really high). This week mom switched me to a new big kid car seat. My body must be getting taller!

Soccer

This week I started playing soccer. I play soccer all the time at recess but now I'm really learning a lot from my coaches. My favorite things about soccer so far are my cleats and shin guards and playing with my friends. I already know two kids on my team from school. At our first practice we named ourselves the Fire-Lasers. We are hot and fast. Go Fire-Lasers!!

Epic battles

Cole and I love playing superheroes versus villains, cops versus robbers, or good guys versus bad guys. We both get killed a lot, but we are also very good at coming back to life.
