Little helper

Mommy says she's training me for the day when I can do all the cleaning. Sounds good to me. Wiping, sweeping, and vacuuming are fun!

Playing rough

I had a little accident with a light saber this weekend, but I didn't let it slow me down. Blows to the head are pretty standard around here. Maybe when I grow up I should become a stunt man.

More structures

Thinking about remodeling? I can come up with some ideas for you.

Man on a mission

Every day I wake up with lots of ideas. I want to wear my shoes, open the back door, drink juice, turn on the lights, brush my teeth, drink from the water fountain, eat fishies, watch my show, play with my sticky spider, wear my hat, or walk everywhere by myself. Unfortunately people are always getting in my way. No matter how much I talk and gesture, a lot of the time they just don't understand me. Maybe they need to listen harder.

Board Games

I passed the praying mantis, gave 10 bug coins to the ants, and made it home before mommy and daddy. I rock the Ladybug Game!

Reloading

A long time ago I had bullets for my nerf gun. Then Luke bit all the tops off and I had to just pretend. Thanks daddy for getting me some more ammo! And now Luke is old enough to help me with my bullets instead of eating them.

Oral hygine

Teeth are one of my favorite body parts. I've got 16 of them and now I can brush 'em. While I have mastered the death grip on my toothbrush, I'm really still working on my technique. If only mommy would remember to let me brush more than once a week. Jeez!

Big brother duties

Luke loves me because I am his big brother. Sometime I like to share with him, help him out, or teach him how to do cool stuff. He loves to swing on the swings, so I figured out how to give him pushes instead of mommy. He liked that ok. Then I thought to myself, what's an even better idea? I'll let him kick me over an over again while he's swinging! I even pretended that he knocked me down a few times. Its fun to make my baby Luke laugh.

Second Christmas

I thought Christmas was over, but I guess not. Grandma and Grandpa came to visit us this weekend. We had presents, ate a turkey dinner, and turned our Christmas lights back on. I love holidays and playing with my family. After all that fun I had to get up early and go to school all day today. I missed everybody so much that at school I was too upset to take a long nap and I fell and hit my face on a bookshelf. Then I cried and cried tonight and made mommy hold me for an hour and a half before I would sleep in my crib. I'm trying to teach her that I want more holidays and more time with Grandma and Grandpa. We'll see if it works.

Even Cole got presents.

Winter fun!

Made my first snowman of the season today. Or, daddy made it and I stuck a carrot in its head. Did some more sledding on my super-fast sled from Santa. I'm starting to think there is a weight limit. Daddy needs to get his own sled.

Summer games?

In the summertime I like to swing on the swings and blast our rockets into the sky. Does all that have to end just because its wintertime? Nope. I'm not going to let a little snow stop me.

Me? Trouble?

Do I look like a trouble maker to you? I am a very good boy, but sometimes I do bad things. Lately I've been getting in trouble at school. My teachers don't really appreciate some of the games that Jack, Mikey, and I like to play. We love to pretend we are superheros, so we have to run and jump and fight a lot. We also like to say bad words to each other, like stupid and shut up. We aren't allowed to sit together at lunch time anymore because we are too wild. I do love my teachers, and I try to listen and be good, but sometimes being bad is just too much fun.

18 month-ish check-up

Today I had my 18 month check-up with the doctor, even though I'm technically 19 months and a week or so old. According to their measurements I'm long and lean, coming in at 33.25 inches (75th %tile) and 25 pounds 8 ounces (25-50th %tile). I'm very good at matching my age to my clothing size. Of course my head measured on the larger size. Big brains run in my family. On the whole the doctor was pleased with how well I am growing. I showed him how good I am at running and climbing. I pointed out my nose, toes, and the fishies I was eating, and said the words for him. He officially called me healthy and happy. Then he left and a mean nurse came in and stabbed me four times with needles!!! I'm not sure if being immune to diphtheria, polio, measles, and chicken pox is worth it.

In hiding

Because my rambunctious play has destroyed two tents, we have moved on to sheet forts.

Techie

Technology and I are friends. When I'm not playing Angry Birds or Bubble Explode on my iPhone, I like to play my SuperWhy computer game or watch youtube.

Special moves

Cole and I like to hang out.

Arts & Crafts

My wonderful Aunt Ali got me a box of craft projects for Christmas. So today mommy opened it up and helped me and Cole make animal puppets. Cole made a cow and I made an elephant. He got to use the glue stick and I got to put on lots of stickers.

I think I'd rather be the cow than play with the puppet!

Structures

Now that I have a zillion magnatiles I can build HUGE structures. My recent favorite is a rocket that daddy made first. I tried to reproduce it on my own and succeeded for about 30 seconds.
