New Friends

Cole and I love our new friend. He's hanging up in front of our house. I love to point at him, hang out near him, and touch his black clothes.

World of Bounce!

Best Birthday Party Ever!!! World of Bounce is the coolest, most awesome play place ever. I went to my friend Zoey's birthday party there this weekend. There was a big, big slide that I went down about 30 times along with three other giant bouncy mazes/slides/obstacles. I couldn't stop telling mommy that it was the best birthday ever. Here is me with the birthday girl, all the kids at the party and the super awesome big slide.

Star Wars!

Have you seen Star Wars? I haven't but that doesn't mean I'm not a fan. I especially love anything related to light sabers. The Halloween store has REAL light-up light sabers!!!! I NEEEEED one really, really bad. For now I will just have spend an hour or so playing with one in the store.

Relatives

I just found out I have a super fun Aunt Beth and Cousin Amanda. They came to play with me and Cole yesterday. Even though I mostly kept them at arms length, due to my strong mommy addiction, I loved having them here. They gave me lots of smiles, they listened to me talk, watched me eat and take a bath, they read me stories, fed me donuts, and gave me a new fun tent and tunnel!

Horsey ride

This just doesn't compare to the carousel at the Zoo. Meijer needs to step it up.

Morning face

Some mornings are good. Like when I get to snuggle with mommy in her bed, watch tv, and then go to park, the library or the mall. Some mornings are bad. Like when mommy has to be at work early, so I can't watch tv, I have to go to school, and worst of all... the lumps in my oatmeal aren't even. I just hate that.

Computer time

I've always hated hanging out by the computer, especially when mommy is trying to work on it. Recently however I've learned that you can use it to watch Yo Gabba Gabba's Super Music Friend Show. And like DJ Lance Rock says, listening to music together is awesome! Now if only I could figure out how to play the shows myself.

Homework

Mommy got me a fun preschool book because I am so old and smart. She says its homework. So far I've done five pages and I think I am getting an A.

New view

From now on I'm looking ahead instead of behind.

Zoo stuff

We went to the zoo and saw some animals. I went first thing to see the elephants, but they did not poop. What a disappointment. After that I came to realize that the zoo is not just about animals. It is also about playgrounds and horse carousel rides! I could have done that all day long, and believe me, I tried.

Check out the huge playground.

Mommy and I rode the carousel. It went really, really fast!!

Oh yeah, and I saw some cool penguins. Wish I could have gone swimming with them.

The Incredible Amazing Zoo!

Have you been to the zoo? It is AMAZING. I've seen lots of pictures of animals but they are so much better in person. I made sure to point out every one of them to mommy and daddy. My absolute favorites were the Pallas Cats, the Gorillas, and the Goats. I even got to touch the goats! They really liked me. I could tell.

Look at this elephant! He's a baby like me. Ha! He's not a real elephant. I saw those inside. Look at those cats!
See!

Here's me and my goat friend. Does he love me like crazy? I say yes. You decide for yourself.

Architect

My rendition of Hogwarts, School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I used my hands to build it instead of my magic wand. Technically I'm not allowed to use magic until I'm 11 and then only when I'm at school.

Bug bites

I know its not as impressive as Cole's recent spider bite, but the mosquito bite on my eye doesn't look so great either! Bugs must like us. Oh, and that is a very yummy cereal bar in my mouth. I can't go a day without one.

Sucker!

Can you believe I'm already a year and 3 months old and I'm just now having my first lollipop?

Hmmm, maybe these things are trickier to eat than I thought.

Rock on!

Check me out! I'm tall, I've got big muscles, I can climb big rocks, and I can jump down on my own. Can you do all that?

The bucket store

Who put these scary monsters in the bucket store?

How many buckets do you think I should buy? I want them all!

Are you ready for Halloween?

The Halloween store finally came to town! I LOVE Halloween. What should I be this year?

A cowboy?

Buzz Lightyear?

Or maybe this scary monster?

Ha! I'm just kidding. I'm going to be Harry Potter of course!

Slope

Um, when's the last time the brakes on this stroller were checked?

Mall, mall, mall

The mall is a place where Luke and I can ride on elevators, play on squishy playgrounds, and eat pizza. Yum! I will go to the mall any day.

Happy Birthday Taylor!

Today I went to Taylor's Birthday party. She is 5 and goes to Kindergarten now. I played with her and her friends all afternoon. We went on her playground, used her drums and guitars, and ate cake and ice cream. The best part of all was the pink car her mommy and daddy got her. I wonder if I'll get a car like that when I'm 5.

Observational Learning

I know I'm still only one, but I think I'm ready to wash my hands and brush my teeth just like a big kid. After all, I've seen Cole do it tons of times. How hard could it be?

Monkey bars

Look at me, doing it (almost) all on my own!

Talking

If I had a dollar for every time I thought "How do you say that word again?", I'd be rich. Oh well. Today I managed to say "Cole" several times while I was pointing to him. So my extensive vocabulary includes Cole, Daddy, Abby (sounds like ah-yi), ball, uh oh, and no. I can also say baaa for sheep, cuk-koo for rooster, and sing the notes for "the end" at the end of a story. I understand a lot more than I can say. I just can't seem to make my mouth move the way it should. Until then I'll just stick with the screaming and squealing.
