Tricks or Treats

The cold and rain couldn't stop me. I'm Iron Man! And so was my friend Nicholas. He kept Luke and me company on our hour long trip around the neighborhood. I've got enough candy to last me til next Halloween.

Halloween spirit

Really we've spent all month celebrating Halloween. We put up spooky decorations and regularly visit the spookiest houses in our neighborhood. We watch Yo Gabba Gabba Halloween and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow all the time. We've carved pumpkins, stocked up on candy, and read our Halloween stories. Yea Halloween!

Here's one of our favorite houses down the street.

Cole and I helped mommy with her pumpkin. I didn't want to touch the pumpkin guts, but Cole convinced me to give it a try.

Rainy day

What can you do when its cold and rainy/snowy all day? Read books, play hide and seek, help mommy with the laundry, pick up toys, shoot my cap gun, watch Scooby Doo, color pictures, and play iPad games. That is all of it.

Bows and Boomerangs

Now that I am old, I can go to any metro park program I want, not just the preschooler programs. Mom took me to my first program and it was called Bows and Boomerangs! Sounds super awesome, doesn't it? Well it was. I thought I would like the bow and arrows the best but it turns out that boomerangs are even better (and easier).

Spaceman

After weeks of asking, mommy finally got me a spaceman costume for Halloween. I want to be an astronaut and ride in a rocket to the moon. The Halloween store did not have any rockets for me. I'm not sure where I'm supposed to get a rocket, but I do think daddy can help me get one.

Of course it wouldn't be fair if I got a Halloween costume and Cole didn't. Even though he already has like a million!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Today I did my best to show daddy how much I love him. I stayed home from school with a fever just so I could get ready for his birthday. When he got home from work, I woke up long enough to give him the five birthday cards I made and a Batman t-shirt. When mommy left to teach her night class, I was excited to have more birthday fun. I wasn't planning on having your yummy birthday dinner come out my other end while we were playing outside. What a horrible birthday surprise. Thanks for cleaning me up and getting me back to bed. Happy birthday, best daddy in the world.

Bye-bye to fall ball

This week was my last week of baseball. It was starting to get cold during my games! I had a another great season as an Indian. In my last game I played first base and short stop, and I had several good hits. I loved playing coach-pitch instead of tee-ball. I always was able to hit the pitches. At my last at bat my coach was so impressed by my flashy setup and practice swings that he called me Ken Griffey Jr. Then I hit his first pitch straight into center field. He let me run to second base on that one. The one and only double of the season. Go Indians!

Check out my medal!

Thanks to my number one fan... Luke!

Big bed!

Daddy bought me a big, grown up bed this weekend. He must think I'm finally big enough.... or he's tired of me sleeping in his bed every night. I'm not sure. Anyway, my new bed is big and comfy and has room for mommy!

Bows and Arrows

Today I shot a real bow and arrow! I paid close attention and followed all the directions. I even shot a pumpkin and a hay bale. I think I'm a natural.

Luke got to try too.

Oh yeah, and we went to a pumpkin patch and played silly games, like eat a doughnut off the string and find the nickels in the haystack. Those were fun too. But the bow was awesome.

Corn and pumpkins!

We spend so much time at the Metro Parks, so of course we went to their fall festival party. It was at a big farm and there were tons of games, activities, and pumpkins.

I stripped corn off the cobs, and sat in the big bucket of corn.

We founds a real pumpkin patch and picked out our own pumpkins.

There was a big corn maze. It was pretty easy, we didn't even get lost. Fall festivals are great, especially during an Indian Summer.

Creepside

Tonight was was Creepside at Creekside! That means we got to dress up in costumes and practice trick-or-treating. It was a great party!!!

Look how strong we are!

Spooky days are here

The countdown to Halloween has begun! We've already decorated our house, borrowed Halloween books from the library, and watched Yo Gabba Gabba's Halloween episode ten times. This week we also paid a visit to the spookiest Halloween store in town. The scariest decorations were the giant limb ripper werewolves. But I am so brave, nothing scares me!

We weren't really supposed to take pictures in the store, but mom was able to catch me arresting Cole and putting him in the stocks.

Cousin concert

I'm ready for a record deal! What could be better than a rock band made of cousins?!

Grace and me made tickets to the concert.

I did my best to sing a death metal/rap version of a song from the Lorax. I think it went well.

Genna was doing a pretty good job too!

Rockin out with my brother!

Catching up

Jeez, its been a long time! I finally convinced mommy to update all my fans. It doesn't matter if we had lots of family visitors, or that she's had laryngitis all week, or that she has 8,000 papers to grade, and 20 good tv shows saved on the dvr. I've got fans that need to see me!

Over the past few weeks I've seen at least a dozen family members, including my favorites Ali and Dexter. I've been to Cleveland and back. I earned two stickers at school for having two good drop offs with no sadness and crying. I joined a rock band. I saw giant werewolf and zombies. And I played preschool Olympics at the park. Whew!

Here's me practicing my Blue Steel look at Grandma's house!
