Race

On your mark, get set, go! I know how to run a race. I never beat Cole, but that doesn't stop me from saying "I won!" when I cross the finish line.

Higher

Seriously. I want to go higher.

Zoo birthday party!

Yesterday Taylor had her birthday party at the zoo! How cool is that?! I wonder if I will get a zoo party when I am 6. We played games, ate pizza and cake, and saw lots of animals. Here's pictures of me petting a snake, a hedgehog, and an armadillo.

It was also my first time playing musical chairs. I almost got out in the first round, but I just barely beat the birthday girl to a chair. Luke got out in the practice round.

Miss you Ali!

Why did you have to go!?! I am so sad that you are gone. You let me play games on your iPad and iPhone. That is the coolest ever. You have so many games. I'm glad you put some more on my phone but it is not as good as your iPad. Now I won't be able to play Monkey Lunchbox. This is just awful.

Miss you Dex!

I'm so sad that you are gone Dex. I miss sharing my toys, eating our snacks, going to parks, jumping on Cole's bed, sharing your mommy, and reading our bedtime books together. Its good to have someone around who's my age. I hope we see each other soon.

Monarch's at the park

Every summer I have seen the Monarch Butterflies at the park. This year Dex and Luke got to hold them too.

Water fun with Dex

Sometimes we play in the pool and sometimes we play with water guns. We also showed Dexter the water fountain at the big mall and the creek in Gahanna. I don't think he has a lot of rivers, creeks, lakes, and ducks in New Mexico.

More cousins

Is it possible for me to spend more time with cousins this summer?!? I love it! Today we all met my cousins Grace, Jason, and Genna and their parents at COSI. After hours of exhausting science, we came back to my house to play video games.

I hope Grace had fun playing with me, even though I kept calling her Rachael. Names are hard.

We all really liked watching rat basketball. We even got to feed the rats their treats!

I made sure to give Jason his shots when I was practicing being a doctor.

Here's me, Genna, Dex, and Grace having a race.

Showing off COSI

Today I took Dexter to COSI. I took him to all my favorite places and showed him lots of science tricks. It was also my first time going to COSI without mom forcing me to ride in a stroller. Is that proof that I'm a big boy now? And, we met tons of my cousins there. Who knew I had so many!

Farmer Cole

Today I learned about being a farmer. We visited a park with a real farm in it. While I was there I visited a farm house and walked through the garden. I collected beans. I crushed corn in a grinder. I pet a baby cow and saw horses, pigs, sheep, and chickens. I played inside a covered bridge. And I made friends with a butterfly who sat on my finger for over 10 minutes while I walked around!

See my butterfly friend!

Bouncy bounce

Yesterday we took Dexter and Ali to World of Bounce! We climbed and slid and jumped and bounced for hours. My legs are still a little too short to climb the ladder of the big slide all by myself. Lucky mom doesn't mind going down the slides too.

Bye Grandfather

After 5 fun filled days and nights, Grandfather is driving back to Florida, a far away place I have never been. While he was here I let him sleep in my superhero bedroom, I shared my snacks, I told him stories and showed him my cool tricks.

Snack time

Dexter and I love snacks. His favorite is blueberries, my favorite is gummies, and we both like waffles.

More jumping

I just can't stop!

Party hopping

Awesome party #1: Max's 5th Birthday! He had a slip-n-slide, Star Wars, Spiderman party. Our whole family drove to his house in Oberlin. We had big lightsaber fights, played in the water, and ate hotdogs and cake.

Intermission

Awesome party #2: Jack's 5th Birthday! He had a slip-n-slide, Captain America party. Mommy watched me while we played in the water and had sword fights in the backyard. We were too busy to eat pizza, but I did have the red, white, and blue cake.
