Summer shade

Just spending the weekend climbing on the lawn furniture (where I've hidden Cole's squirt guns).

Water fun

Is it officially summer time yet? It is for me. I can't get enough of sprinklers, water guns, squirt bottles, hoses, slide pools (aka slip-n-slides), or just plain old water in a bucket.


Check out me and my new slide pool. It is so much fun that it helped me make friends with the little girl next door.

I do! I'm not just a star in my own videos. I also like to watch lots of other shows on the computer. My favorites are old Disney cartoons like Skeleton Dance or any with Mickey Mouse, Yo Gabba Gabba music videos and my most recent interest... the numa numa guy.

Shopping

Today my neighborhood had a garage sale. I tried out lots of things, but eventually decided on two drawing toys. I wish the rain and nap time hadn't ended our good time. Garage sales are awesome.

Driving

Sometimes I like to walk behind my car and sometimes I like to drive it. I'm getting really good at both.

Gardening

I love to help in the yard. I can dig a hole (sort of), put a flower in it, and water it. Now I would like to learn how to use a saw and chop down a tree. That looks like super fun.

Time for Kindergarden?

No! I'm not even in preschool yet! Doesn't mean that I can't go play at my future Elementary school. Turns out they have an awesome playground.

I've never seen mommy or daddy use a phone like this but I figured it out. Who would ever want a phone with a cord?!

Potty break

Did you know that I'm giving up diapers? Yep. I'm a big boy now, almost 3 and getting ready for Pre-school. I don't need them anymore (except when I am sleeping and the pee-pee comes out of me). I went diaper free all weekend, and had no accidents on Sunday - that was my Mother's Day present. I love you mommy! And, today I was awesome and wore underpants to school. Did you know that I go potty 7 times at school? That's a lot and I made it to the bathroom for each one.

Hmmm... should I read a Yo Gabba Gabba book or watch the show? Hate to say it, but I think the show might be a better choice. The book doesn't come with music.

I definitely think I'll play basketball when I get older. It's so easy to dunk!

11 months old!

Yea, only one more month until I become a people! (According to Cole.) Its been an exciting month, with my most amazing accomplishment being my first steps. I've also gotten teeth 7 and 8 and shared a week long stomach bug with mommy. Good times. I'm still working on my first word. My uh oh's haven't been perfected yet. During the past two weeks I have slept most nights from 8:30 pm to 6:00 am. Mommy doesn't seem to miss my middle of the night feeding even though I kinda liked it. 11 months have come and gone and I'm ready for more.
