Book review

Have I got a book for you. Please check out Eat, Cried Little Pig, by Jonathan London. It is fantastic. Little Pig and I have so much in common. I also get food in my hair, food on my chair, food on my clothes, food everywhere. And you will just die laughing when Little Pig sits ON his plate! Right now I'm borrowing it from the library, but I'm hoping that my nightly requests will convince mommy to get me my own copy.

Digging for bones

It took some hard work and advanced science techniques, but I was able to find a tiny dinosaur skeleton in a big hunk of dirt. I think it was a real baby dinosaur that some scientists sent to me. It is making me consider a career in paleontology.

(Thanks Nina and Ewan!)

Sweetheart

I am a very lovable little boy, but you already know that. I love to give hugs and kisses. I love to say "I love you" spontaneously to my family (or to pictures of my extended family). I love to say "love you too" over and over again. I also love to stick my tongue out as far as possible at the last second when mommy is coming in for a kiss. Hilarious! And very lovable.

Bows and arrows

Remember how I bought myself a bow and arrow? Well, I think I have buyers remorse. I keep thinking that there must be a better bow out there. I shop all over Amazon.com and spend lots of time trying to create my own version. I think an arrow holder and a way to carry my bow over my shoulder is key. Maybe I'll save up enough money to buy myself another one, or maybe Santa will answer my daily prayers.

Eating Star Wars

What tastes yummier than cookies? Star Wars cookies! Thanks for my special cookie cutters, Ali. We finally got to use them last night. I really, really like black icing.

Daredevil

I have no fear! Of jumping that is. I actually am scared of spooky halloween decorations, monsters, lightning and thunder, spiders, of being left alone, and many other random things.

Halloween Match

Rachael is my friend from across the street. I play with her every chance I get. Doesn't she look great in her Halloween costume? Captain America Girl has a cape and Captain America has a shield. We are a match!

up, up

Anyone wanna give me a lift?

Football time!

Here comes Cole Johnston. The newest running back for the Steelers! Actually I got to play all the positions today at my first practice. My favorite thing so far is chasing the kid with the ball and trying to pull his flag. Ok, actually my favorite thing to do is play with my flag belt. Football is pretty confusing. I'm not quite sure what happened today, but it was fun.

Still working on hiking the ball...

Here's my first big play. Hopefully I'll start to figure out what the heck is going on after a few more practices.

Up high

Daddy always gives rides on his shoulders. Thanks Mommy for letting me try yours out. In return I will make sure to pick all the leaves and twigs out of your hair.

Homemade costume

I need a Batman costume. NOW! Until I get it I will just have to make my own.

Its that time of year

Halloween is coming!!!!

Are you getting ready yet? I am. Today I convinced mom to find an open Halloween store. I begged and begged to buy a Batman costume but she said I have to wait and think more about it. I know I've been saying that I want to be Superman, and before that Captain America. But now I'm really sure, I will be Batman.

Pre-K school

This week I started at my new school in a pre-K class. My teacher is Miss Shelly. There is another Cole in my class, Cole W. and there are two Lukes! I'm already friends with Luke W., aka Big Luke. This week we learned about colors, shapes, and the letter M. I made a maraca, a mask, and wrote the word mango. This is pre-K so its only for big kids. I get to learn reading, spelling, writing, math, and science. And for the next four Monday's I get to take gymnastics lessons! Yeah, its pretty awesome.

News flash!

Tonight I peed in the potty for the very first time! Yea!!!

Morning read

Sometimes Cole wakes me up in the morning and reads books to me. That is a great way to start the day.

Consumer

I have money and I know how to buy things. Daddy let me open my piggy bank. We counted up $23! I took it to the store and picked out something I've been wanting very, very badly for months... a real bow and arrow! I bought it and a candy bar and still had a few dollars left to put back. I love having my own money.

Cheering for the team

I did my best to cheer for Cole and his team tonight, except for when I was busy eating crackers, blowing bubbles, playing with spiders, and running around the playground. Go team!

Trophy time

Tonight was my last t-ball game. I had two great hits, made it to home plate, and fielded several balls. I loved being a Yankee. And I got a trophy! Go Yankees!

Here's my team.
