Easter traditions

Good traditions: Visiting Grandma, and Grandpa and playing at their pool. Easter egg hunts. Eating ham for dinner and candy for breakfast.

Bad traditions: Crying over dying Easter Eggs. Crying because I can't have more candy. Crying because I am tired but too excited to take a nap. Fighting over Easter Bunny toys.

Here's me and my first ever Easter Egg hunt! Thanks for your help Cole.

Easter!

This weekend I dyed eggs with mommy. Everyone, even Abby, drove up to Cleveland to visit with Grandma and Grandpa. We went swimming at the pool. We had yummy ham dinner. I got an Easter basket from the Easter Bunny filled with candies, chocolates, a car and a plane. I had lots of egg hunts. I went to the park and helped daddy shoot our big rocket. To sum up, Easter means eggs and candy, Grandma and Grandpa, and fun, fun, fun.

Function words

First three word sentence, "Down the slide" (Sounds like Down duh side). Yea! I do like putting my race cars down the slide. I know I'm still mastering my two word sentences but it is nice to prove that I do know how to say "the".

Also, I know you can't see it in my picture but tooth #19, my top right 2nd molar, just started coming in. Now I can tell mommy "mouth ouchie" when it hurts. Words are very convenient.

Catching up

So Luke, remember how I let that nice doctor put that horrible burney medicine up my nose? Guess it didn't work. I had 3 nose bleeds today! Maybe it was the wrong medicine.

Bloody nose, treatment #2

In case your forgot, I get bloody noses all the time. Sometimes twice a week. I went to the doctor and he had me use the humidifier while I'm sleeping and made mommy put vaseline up my nose every day for a month. But it didn't work. So back to the doctor. This time we moved on to step two. He put some horrible silver burney medicine in my nose! I can't describe how bad the pain was. I cried and itched and sneezed and moaned. The only thing that made me feel better was eating massive quantities of gummy worms and skittles while watching my favorite movie How to Train Your Dragon. Even though it doesn't hurt as bad now, it did turn the inside of my nose brown. I wonder if it will stay that way forever.

My bike

See my new bike, same as Cole's old bike. Do I look like I know what I'm doing? My legs just won't cooperate.

Manners and an Octopus

Over the past month or two I've been working very hard on my words. I do my best to mimic every word I hear. A few of my recent favorites are dragon and octopus. I also have a decent number of two word sentences that I like to say. My favorite by far is saying "No Cole!" or "No Daddy!" or "No Abby" or no to anyone else that is doing something wrong. I also really like to say "love you", "want some?", "thank you" and "you're welcome". I'm doing my best to be a little chatterbox like Cole.

Making dinner

I'm teaching Luke how to cook pasta for dinner. Doesn't it look yummy! I think it needs more twigs and dirt. Thanks mommy and daddy for being smart enough to leave my winter sled in the backyard. You probably knew I'd want to use it as a water table, right?

Cycling

I've finally moved up from three wheels to two. Well four if you count the training wheels, but who's counting. Took my first ride tonight after the rain stopped. It was decided that I am a natural. I did tip over twice, but in my defense sharp turns are tricky. I love my shark bike, and it is all mine, and no one can ride it except me unless I say so. And no one can touch it but me or mommy or daddy and then only if I ask for help.Woo hoo! I love my bike!

Fearless

See me up there?! You know I'm almost 2, right? I don't need any help. I can climb up, up, up and slide down, down, down.

Celebrating Nina's birthday

Yesterday was Nina's party at Pump It Up. It is just like World of Bounce, but in Cincinnati. It was also the most fun place ever to have a party! I bounced and bounced for hours.

The birthday girl. (I'm almost 4 too.)

Everyone at the party.

I did more than just bounce. I got to climb a rock wall and play baseball.

New Park

New park! New park! I thought I had been to all the parks. Guess not. This is the best, coolest park in town.

So do I push these light up things when the music plays? Not sure about this game, although Cole played it for 45 minutes.

Horsey rides.

Want to see-saw with me?

Good old swings. They're the same no matter where you go.

A message for Nina

Happy Birthday! Can't hardly wait for your party!

Hoagie

You think this sandwich can beat me? Ok, it did.

fish pond

Fish pond, swimming pool, or water hazard? Guess it depends on your perspective. The water looks inviting to me!

Rocket!

Daddy gave me my first lesson in aeronautical engineering. I'm ready to be a rocketman!
