M&M's

Nana, I need more nemh-uh-nems. These beads are not as good as the real thing.

Bouncing back

One day alone with daddy and I am feeling great. Too bad he doesn't seem any better. I may still be a bit boogery but I'm fever free.

Also, mommy got some of my new top teeth in this pic. Check it out!

Back to school?

Is this a face that looks ready for daycare? I think not. Mommy was obviously too distracted by my new teeth and all our company to realize how sick I am. My fever today got her attention. I have officially been diagnosed with ear infections and bronchiolitis. Thank goodness daddy has to stay home sick tomorrow too. We can both be sick together.

Waffle time

Yep that's me eating a waffle. Gotta love it.

Twins

I know, we're not twins we're cousins. The snot and drool really makes us look more alike.

A long visit

Nana, Grandfather, Ali, Dan, and Dexter have been staying with us for many, many days now. I made sure to share almost everything with Dexter, including my toys, my playground, and my bathtub. Turns out he is a lot like Luke... still a baby. But I still like him. Ali and I played Harry Potter (I made her be Ron and me Harry). Grandfather shared his golden raisins with me and Nana gave me a whole bag of "nem-uh-nems" (M&Ms). It was awesome.

Party pooper

Who me? I tried very hard to have fun today, but my terrible cold and teething pain (tooth #5 and #6) made it pretty difficult. I did have fun in my new swing, practiced sticking my tongue out, and came very close to saying my first word ("uh oh"). Despite all that I spent most of the day being held. Thank you mommy and daddy.

Doctor Dan

Uncle Dan became a doctor this week. I say he's not a doctor but he is Doctor Dan. It is all confusing. To celebrate we had a party with lots of cousins, cake, and swinging. I love parties!

Here is me and my cousins Grace and Jason playing in my monster room.

Grace and I were hiding in the bushes in my back yard.

Here is me in my swing and Grace using Luke's new baby swing!

Outside fun

I love the park. It is so exciting... maybe too exciting.

Mommy's birthday fun

Saturday was mommy's birthday. To celebrate we went to the park. I showed her how high I can swing on the big kid swing. Is it my birthday yet?

Swing!

Can you believe that I'm almost 10 months old and today was the first time I got to go in a swing?!

Bubble Master

That's right. I have now logged enough hours to be called a Bubble Master.

My friends too

Ewan is two months older than me, but we still have a lot in common. We eat cheerios and waffles, put our toys in our mouths, drool, and pull hair.

Friends!

My friends Nina and Ewan came to stay with us this weekend. I shared my toys and food and even my bed with them. We danced, colored, screamed, ran, blew bubbles, watched Yo Gabba Gabba, read books, and took baths. I love friends. Come back soon!

Giggles

Cole has found the easiest way to make me laugh. He's a great big brother.

Bye bye snow

All the snow is melting. I'm sad to see it go. Before it got too melty, daddy and I made a snow cave in the front yard. Snow caves are fun but really cold!

9 month checkup

To further celebrate being 9 months old, I got to visit the Doctor today. He told me that I am very advanced for my age. I am the perfect size, 21 lbs 2 oz and 28.75 inches tall (both in the 75th %tile). I also have a very large brain, head size in the 90th %tile. I think he was just trying to flatter me before he gave me the dreaded shots. Two this time. Looking on the bright side, all my screaming allowed mommy to catch a glimpse of my two new front teeth!

Contagious

I am tired of Daddy and Luke being sick. So today I arranged for mommy and me to come down with fevers. I prefer our fevers and body aches to their runny noses. Can anyone explain why a fever makes my cheeks red?

9 months old!

Can you believe it? I think 9 months old is a good age. I've mastered rolling, crawling, cruising, and climbing. I love to try new foods, especially "big people" food. I can feed myself cheerios, cereal bars, and other tiny snacks. I talk all the time using goofy sounds and grunts. I laugh and smile easily. Watching people clap is especially entertaining. I can recognize my name and all the names of my favorite people. I miss my mommy a lot when she is gone, whether it be 30 seconds or several hours. I have trouble napping during the day, but fall asleep around 7pm regularly. I still like a bottle (or two) during the night, but I try to be quick about it. Sometimes I have to compete with Cole for attention but in general I try to be low maintenance. Oh, and yes I still have red hair.

Mommy's camera

Mommy is always taking pictures of us. Tonight I got her to take pictures of her too.
