Starry night

This week at the Metro Park program I learned about the night sky. We practiced flying in a rocket ship, read about shooting stars, and looked at constellations on the ceiling in the lodge. I learned how to make a shooting star with a paper plate and some scissors. It was really fun and I learned a ton. When we got home mommy let me hang up my shooting star in the playroom and I made my own stars, planets, and moon for our ceiling!

Latest Milestones

Yesterday I tried my first piece of bubble gum. Yum!


Today I had my first whole day in underpants. I went through 4 pairs, although I really only had one accident, the rest were lost due to logistical issues and collateral damage. I made it in my pants once and in the potty 6 times. Sounds like a win to me.

Grinning

Mom caught me thinking up new devilish tricks and schemes. Muhahahah!

Science Experiment

Did you know that mentos plus soda pop equals an explosion? Daddy taught us that in our science lesson for the week. Oh yeah, he also proved that mentos and soda pop in your mouth does not have a similar effect.

Super Dog

I've decided to adopt a (super)dog. I made him a blue collar for his secret identity and a yellow collar and black cape for when he is Superdog. I also gave him his own bowl of food by the refrigerator. It makes it hard for mom and dad to open the door but they're ok with it. The dog's gotta eat!

Sleep needs

I've always been a good sleeper. I sleep even better if I have all the things I (currently) love, with me. Tonight that was Captain Rex, Captain America, my giraffe, water, a plastic basketball, mickey mouse, a glow stick, and an extra blanket from the play room. So cozy!

Low Tech

Mommy can take away our iPad but we can still find a way to play Angry Birds. Cole and me each drew our own Angry Birds. And I won!

Danger day

Today mommy let me touch all kinds of things that are dangerous. First she let me use chemicals to clean my bathroom mirror and toilet. Then later she let me make meatballs out of raw meat and eggs. All that stuff can make you sick, but I was very careful and the cooked meatballs were yummy!

puzzle time?

My cousin Dexter loves puzzles and calmly works on them until he gets it right. We have puzzles at our house too. Mommy convinced me to work on the animal floor puzzle and I did a great job. Of course I did scream at the top of my lungs, "AHH! I CAN'T DO IT!" As I put every single piece together. But I did a great job. Doing puzzles is noisy work.

Spring training

Today was my first day practicing baseball this year. My new t-ball team starts Saturday (2/11/12)! I hope I get to be a Yankee again. Oh, and don't worry, we will be playing inside.

Oversized

Big shirts and hats look good on me. Gives me that older, preschooler look.
